Become an Academic Trustee

- You can be matched with a community sector organisation to make a real difference

Cheshire West Voluntary Action (CWVA), working with the University of Chester, is helping academics and wider university staff become trustees so they can make a real difference in the local community.

A couple of years ago, CWVA ran a successful Citizen Academic project and this is now being relaunched as the Academic Trustee project.

Any academics or university staff who are interested in becoming trustees can get in touch with CWVA so they can be matched with community sector organisations.

This will help academics and university staff find the right organisations for them so their skills and experience are put to the best possible use.

CWVA’s volunteering platform also showcases the wide range of opportunities available locally.
