Children, Young People and Families Alliance

At CWVA, we run a Children, Young People and Families Alliance, bringing together community sector organisations that provide services for children, young people and families.

The Alliance was formed in early 2024 and is supported by Clare Crerand, Children, Young People and Families Strategic Lead at CWVA.

Not only does the Alliance provide an opportunity for us to create a common voice for the community sector around support for children, young people and families, but it is also a useful point of contact for our partners in the public sector.

We want community sector organisations to help us continually shape the Alliance so it can be as effective as possible in west Cheshire.

There are currently three sub groups as part of the Alliance.

• Mental Health
• Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Youth
