Funding

– At CWVA, we manage different funding pots to help distribute grants to community sector organisations.

We also signpost organisations to the funding opportunities available locally and nationally. Below is a list of funding pots that are currently open for applications.

CWVA/Anne Duchess of Westminster – micro grants

Expressions of interest for microgrants of £1,000 through the Anne Duchess of Westminster Fund are now open, closing at 5pm on Sunday 19 October. Small charities, voluntary and community organisations in Cheshire West are eligible to apply for microgrants of up to £1,000 each for costs towards projects or activities supporting adults in one or more of the following themes. -Mental health and wellbeing -Community projects in disadvantaged areas -Isolation and loneliness -Ill health and disability Please note that services or activities for children, young people and families won’t be considered, and organisations must have incomes of under £100,000 to apply. Eligible costs include part salaries, sessional costs, volunteer expenses, equipment, insurance, room hire, and any other ongoing project costs. Completed expressions of interest will be shared with the Westminster Foundation in the first instance and, while previous applicants can apply, priority will be given to new applicants.
