Funding

The Community Benefit Fund has been established by Liverpool Bay CCS Limited (LBCCS) to provide long-term investment in communities that host the Liverpool Bay Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) infrastructure. Delivered in partnership with Cheshire Community Foundation and Community Foundation Wales. The programme will support charitable and not-for-profit organisations delivering projects that create lasting benefits for local people and places through education, environmental enhancement and the celebration of local heritage. Open for applications specifically those in Chester, Ellesmere Port, Frodsham and Neston.

Charities and organisations are welcome to apply all year around. This programme, funded by the John Good Group, offers unrestricted funds that can be used for any costs, including core running costs. These grants are designed for small and growing charities, voluntary groups or social enterprises making a big impact on communities, people or the environment, closing on 15 March 2024.

National Lottery Awards for All England – Environment fund community-led projects that improve the environment and help people connect with and enjoy nature where they live.
