Y Bont is a faith-based charity providing a confidential pregnancy and post loss & abortion, listening and support service. Our Mission is to provide free impartial advice and confidential support to those women and men who are or have been experiencing emotional stress as a result of an unplanned or unwanted pregnancy.
Y Bont is part of a national network of over 80 like-minded Independent Pregnancy Advisory centres.
The post of Development & Collaboration Officer is a strategic one, supported by the Welsh Government Bereavement Project across North Wales, from the Wrexham base. The role is focussed on A] collaboration with those who have contact with people who have experienced loss including, but not exclusively, community groups, GPs, midwives, and other BCUHB teams, and B] strategically reaching out to all community groups, faith groups, BAMER and LGBTQ communities to facilitate service provision to them
The post will be home and office based.
The Post does not involve giving client support or advice.
The person appointed to this post will have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate the empathetic vision of IPAC while maintaining a professional approach in the development of relationships with stakeholders, and having a flexible approach to the project.
