Are you curious, keen to discover what lies behind the data and eager to share your findings in an impactful way? We’d love you to join the team as Healthwatch Cheshire’s Insight, Intelligence and Communications Officer.

Healthwatch Cheshire, consisting of Healthwatch Cheshire East and Healthwatch Cheshire West, gives our community a powerful voice to comment on the Health and Care services people receive and to affect change locally.

Our team uses a variety of engagement techniques to gather the views and experiences of the Health and Care services people receive across Cheshire, to help inform the priorities and quality of services commissioned by the NHS and local authorities. As Insight, Intelligence and Communications Officer, you will be a vital member of our small team, analysing data and information from a range of sources, to create impactful reports and communications that will influence positive outcomes for the people of Cheshire.

You will be responsible for managing Healthwatch Cheshire’s database, finding effective ways to interpret, analyse and present information to share with our strategic partners to influence their decision making. You will have a keen interest in health and care, a curiosity and eagerness to learn with excellent communication skills. You’ll be able to produce a range of written materials including reports, website articles and social media posts for a range of audiences.

The design, implementation and analysis of research projects covering all aspects of health, care and wellbeing will be a key part of your role. Presenting people’s views and experiences using high quality written and verbal communications, such as insight and intelligence reports, case studies, presentations and digital content, will be essential to your success. Working in partnership with other organisations as a valued member of the integrated health and care system, you will have the opportunity to positively affect planning and delivery of services, and work on a wide range of projects that will benefit the health, care and wellbeing of our local communities.
