Participants will develop a clear understanding of what boundaries are, why they matter, and how they help create safe, respectful, and effective volunteering environments.
Through practical examples, group discussions, and real-life scenarios, attendees will learn how to recognise boundary challenges, manage difficult situations confidently, and respond appropriately when personal and professional lines become blurred. The session also examines safeguarding responsibilities, confidentiality, power dynamics, and strategies for maintaining wellbeing while supporting others.
