Understand the challenge of communicating effectively and strategies to overcome them. Attendees will explore key principles such as active listening, nonverbal cues, emotional intelligence, and adapting communication styles to different audiences. This session also aims to equip people with the knowledge to feel confident in identifying the signs and symptoms of cancer. It will challenge cancer myths that often distorts our understanding and present how we can positively contribute to making ourselves as healthy as possible.
We all make judgments, and learn how this can impact how successful we are in carrying out our voluntary roles. Remember - your brain processes about 11 million pieces of information per second… yet you’re only consciously aware of about 40!
