Event - Community sector market shaping event for direct payments

Following an event held in late 2024, Cheshire West Voluntary Action (CWVA) is working with Cheshire West and Chester Council to run another market shaping event for the community sector, looking at some of the opportunities around direct payments.

This will take place at Ellesmere Port Library from 10am to 1pm on Friday 1 August.

It will be an opportunity to look at:

data outlining people’s needs in communities, and how support can be packaged up and purchased with a direct payment
the direct payment journey and how someone receives support
how a group can get paid in direct payments
any concerns around direct payments.

As further work has taken place and more data is available since the last event, this will be an opportunity to see how your organisation might start accepting, or increase your work with, direct payments.
