Food Insecurity and Poverty Awareness Training: Chester – Tuesday 23rd January 2024 10:30am – 12:30pm
Food Poverty is the state of being without reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food. Food Poverty is a growing issue for many people in the UK
This training aims to provide you the tools, to feel both confident and skilled to help those who are experiencing it. This will help you to better support and signpost those people you encounter who are experiencing food poverty.
It will cover themes such as: food insecurity, the cost of living, in-work poverty, the reality of what being in hardship is like and more! It will be delivered in the format of videos as well as immersive and interactive exercises.
