About this event

Enables learners to recognise signs of poverty and exclusion, understand the benefits of money advice and what regulated advice means. Then use the skills & knowledge to help users access the best, most appropriate, free and impartial money, benefits and debt advice available and support them through the money advice process.

WHAT IS COVERED:

The difference between information, guidance,advice and casework services and regulated debt advice
How to react appropriately if someone confides in you that they have a debt problem
Identifying the most common causes of debt and how to spot the most common symptoms of financial crisis.
Know which type of advice provision and what level of support meets your client’s needs and how to access.
Make a client referral to Pennysmart CIC and/or other money advice providers
