Unconscious bias training aims to raise awareness of the potential biases & cognitive shortcuts that may affect decision making.
This course explains how we can overcome our unconscious biases to improve decision making and professional relationships, and to create more open, inclusive, and effective organisations.
We all make judgments, and learn how this can impact how successful we are in carrying out our voluntary roles. Remember - your brain processes about 11 million pieces of information per second… yet you’re only consciously aware of about 40!

The first line of engagement is visual; it happens within the first few seconds. This training is designed to show how a volunteer can make an immediate positive impact. People typically remember only about 10% of what they hear… but up to 65% of what they see.
