The 2025 theme for International Women’s Day is Accelerate Action.
Focusing on the need to Accelerate Action emphasises the importance of taking swift and decisive steps to achieve gender equality. It calls for increased momentum and urgency in addressing the systemic barriers and biases that women face, both in personal and professional spheres.
Our speakers, who represent a range of diverse characteristics, will speak for 10 minutes each on how they, from their own unique perspective accelerate action toward equality – some just focussing on gender, others on more intersectional approaches.
Building on the success of many past years of fantastic IGS and Diversity Festival IWD collaborations, we know this will be another great event. Promising networking, collaboration, thought provoking inspirational speakers, we hope you will join us on 11th March!
