This event is perfect for anyone looking to gain an understanding of safeguarding practices. Our expert trainer will guide you through the basics of safeguarding, giving you the tools you need to keep yourself and others safe. You will:

Gain awareness of safeguarding legislation and guidance practices.
Gain awareness of key safeguarding roles and which agencies the safeguarding partnership consist of and know who within an organisation has responsibility for safeguarding.
Gain awareness of different types of abuse, the signs and indicators such as, physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse and neglect.
Know what action to take if a safeguarding concern arises.
