Local Voices Training

There are many organisations and people across West Cheshire who coproduce services or work closely with people with lived experience in a number of different ways. Whether that’s through consultations, focus groups or even surveys.

The aim of this session is to increase understanding of the Local Voices Framework and the principles behind it as well as the different approaches and ways you can work in partnership with people who have lived experience.

Content:

  • Reflection – where are you currently on your journey of lived experience involvement? (This could be an idea, feeling, question, something you are already doing)
  • What do we mean by “lived experience”?
  • Introduction to the Local Voices Framework and Principles
  • What you need to consider when starting out…
  • “How to” – Different approaches and ways of working more closely with people who access your services/who have lived experience (putting the Local Voices Principles into practice)

Location: Ellesmere Port Civic Hall, Civic Way Ellesmere Port CH65 0AZ
