Recognising Compassion Fatigue – Tuesday 27th February 2024 10am – 1pm
‘Compassion fatigue’ is a term used to describe the emotional impact of engaging with people in distress. It explains the way that we can be changed and affected by empathising with others who have experienced stressful life events.
This workshop is designed to create a space for workers to reflect on themselves and develop strategies to be able to continue their work as effectively as possible in the future.
CWVA, with funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), is hosting training on measuring the impact of community sector services. While this will be presented with a focus on community food services, the learning will be applicable for all community sector organisations and services.
