This is a one hour non nonsense, light hearted look at our use of the internet with some top tips of how to stay safe when online shopping, using email, receiving calls & text, chatting on social media and meeting new friends online.
You do not need to have any technical knowledge, but you will be able to leave with some basic practical ideas of how to stay safe online, for you and your family & friends.
This is a free training session, delivered by Active Background Checks, available to any staff or volunteers within volunteer-involving organisations in Cheshire West. The session will provide an overview of the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks process for volunteers.
