Community Partnerships play an important part in helping influence, address and understand local health needs.

There are seven Community Partnerships across west Cheshire.

  • Ellesmere Port
  • Frodsham, Helsby and Elton
  • Neston and Willaston
  • Northwich
  • One Chester
  • Rural Together
  • Winsford

Since April 2024, Community Partnerships have been hosted and led by Cheshire West Voluntary Action (CWVA), which champions the community sector and is one of the key partners involved in Cheshire West Place.

CWVA is working with a wide range of stakeholders, including the wider community sector, public sector and people with lived experienced, to drive forward Community Partnerships.

Each of the partnerships work on projects that will make a difference in their local area and support the priorities set out by Cheshire West Place.

A short video has been created with Gary Cliffe, Chief Executive of CWVA, to provide an overview of Community Partnerships and the important role CWVA will be play moving forward.

A section about Community Partnerships has been created on the CWVA website, highlighting the different priorities for each and how you might want to engage with them.

You can also sign up to a new Community Partnerships ebulletin, which will be issued each month and showcase all the positive work currently taking place.

While many people are already actively involved in community partnerships, others are encouraged to take part and work with partners to make a difference in the local community. If you’re interested in attending future meetings, please email Rosemary Harrington, Community Partnerships and Admin Officer at CWVA: rosemary.harrington@cwva.org.uk.
