Cheshire West Voluntary Action (CWVA) has become the latest local organisation to commit to the Cheshire and Merseyside Social Value Award.
As the go-to place for the community sector in west Cheshire, CWVA has signed up to the Social Value Award, which recognises it as an anchor organisation, helps deliver social value, supports staff and volunteer recruitment and retention and much more.
The Social Value Award focuses on four key themes.
CWVA has joined organisations from the public sector, such as the Council and NHS, and private sector by signing up to the Social Value Award.
Gary Cliffe, Interim Chief Executive, said: “We’re delighted to be part of the Cheshire and Merseyside Social Value Award.
“At CWVA, we work closely with other sectors as closely as we can to champion our sector and create opportunities for our members.
“By signing up to the Social Value Award, we’re demonstrating how we’re adding value locally and helping make west Cheshire a great place to live, work and visit.”
