Tuesday 1 October marks International Day of Older Persons, recognising the contributions of older people and the issues that might affect their lives.
The celebration day is organised by United Nations and has been running since the 1990s.
It is a great opportunity to highlight the many services provided by community sector organisations for older people across west Cheshire.
A wide range of activities are taking place on or around International Day of Older Persons.
