On Big Advice Day as part of Small Charity Week, Cheshire West Voluntary Action (CWVA) held two sessions for members so they could pick the brains of the team and get any support they needed.

CWVA helps communities in west Cheshire grow and thrive by connecting charitable organisations, volunteers and businesses to champion social action, providing a range of bespoke support to members.

A number of different members came along to the two sessions to chat to the team, talking through things they currently need help with, and the team is now touching base with them all to offer support around things like governance, funding, training and much more.

The vast majority of members taking part had only recently started up their organisations so the sessions provided them with plenty of useful information about the funding and training opportunities out there and a chance to connect with others in the community sector.

Following the success on Big Advice Day, CWVA will now be holding further advice sessions for all members every other month so they can easily reach out for any support they need.
