Cheshire West Voluntary Action (CWVA) is working with Voluntary Sector North West (VSNW), the NHS and other partners to support 1,000 Voices and help communities have their say on some of the difficulties they’re currently facing.
1,000 Voices aims to gather 1,000 first-hand accounts of experiences during the pandemic, forming part of a wider programme to address health inequalities in the north west and the ongoing impact of the pandemic.
In Cheshire and Merseyside, the following communities are being focused on.
For Cheshire West and Chester, around 45 voices in total are needed, with an even split across the four communities. If anyone fits into more than one of the communities, that’s fine as CWVA will decide which one to submit the response under. Any interviews will be carried out anonymously, although the details will need to be transcribed so the responses can be submitted as part of the programme.
CWVA is looking to work with members to gather these first-hand accounts so, if you support people in any of the four communities who could provide useful feedback, please email: joanne.stanton@chesterva.org.uk.
Your organisation can complete these interviews, or a member of the CWVA team can support you, and there are some incentives that can be offered to encourage people to take part. More information will be provided for people closer to the time of the interviews.
